KH3: Eternity - Samantha 'N' Pitch

A young girl, maybe fifteen years old, with shiny blond hair and sea green eyes, stood outside the front door. She had on some khaki shorts and a red t-shirt. Sora stood at the doorway, taking in this girl, wondering why she was there.

"Can I help you?" Sora asked. Getting a closer look, he noticed she looked weak.

"The darkness..." It was then that she suddenly began to collapse. Sora reached out and caught her safely in his arms. She fainted. Kairi rushed to the door with Sora.

"Call Riku!" Sora said urgently to Kairi, who nodded and rushed back to the kitchen, grabbed her cell and dialed Riku's number. Sora carried the girl inside and shut the door with his foot, then laid the girl on the couch. "Seth, go to your room for a little bit, okay?" Seth didn't say anything but was gone in seconds.

"Is she alright?" Sora asked.

"Yeah, she just fainted. She is still resting." Riku confirmed.

"That's good." They both were sitting on Sora's couch, discussing what had just happened. Riku and Roxanne came over, Roxanne took the girl back to Riku's while stayed behind to chat with Sora.

"Yeah...When she wakes, I'll call you over and we can figure out what she wanted." Sora nodded.

"When she arrived, all she said was 'the darkness'." Sora shrugged. Riku pondered that phrase, but came up empty. He stood and headed for the door.

"Well, it seemed like she went through something to get here...Maybe it has to do with that. I'll call ya later." And Riku was gone. Sora stood up and was about to go check on Kairi and Seth, who were playing with toys in Seth's room, when a bang was heard. It came from upstairs. Sora stood very still and observed his surroundings, listening again. Another bang, and a shriek...from Kairi. He quickly summoned his Keyblade and rushed to Seth's room. He reached the door and jiggled the door handle. Locked!

"Kairi! Seth!" He slammed himself into the door, and it barely budged. Another shriek. He aimed his Keyblade at the door, unlocked it, and rushed in. Inside, he saw Kairi being pinned up on the wall by her neck by some creature of blackness. In it's other arm, was Seth. The creature had a human figure, but even his skin was a dark blue, almost black color. His fingers almost like claws and his eyes golden outter ring with a black center, kinda like a Solar Eclipse. Kairi was trying to pry his fingers from her neck, but he was stronger. The creature turned to see Sora. Kairi averted her eyes to him, almost crying, while Seth began to cry.

"Ah, you must be the Keyblade Master." He sneered, smiling, and showing his teeth which were sharp like blades. Sora grew furious and readied himself for battle.

"LET THEM GO!" He shouted. The man chuckled, then flung Kairi to the other side of the room, where she crashed into the wall, and fell to the ground, unconscience. But, Seth was stil under his arm.

"Mommy!" He cried. Sora looked to Kairi, then back to the man, growing more furious by the second.

"And my son!" Sora demanded. The man shook his head.

"You really think I would release the future Ruler of Darkness? I think not." He smiled a devilish smile. "Oh, my apologizes; I have yet to introduce myself. My name is Pitch. And I am taking your boy to be raised by me. To harness his Darkness, and rule this world, along with all the others!" He began to cackle, then extended his palm towards Sora, and released a heap of Dark Dust at him, and it pinned him to the wall in the hallway. Sora struggled perfusly but couldn't escape. As Pitch approached Sora, someone else came to help. From Seth's window came in that girl from earlier. Pitch turned and glared at her.

"You!?" He snarled.

"Me." She then threw a small little yellow ball at Pitch, which disappeared inside him. He panicked and dropped Seth, who then crawled towards the girl. Pitch began screaming and a large orb of light and images appeared all over him, and soon him and the light, were gone. Sora's bonds vanished and he quickly rushed to Kairi, and Seth rushed to his parents. The girl panting, looked at them.

"Who the hell are you?" Sora exclaimed, cradling Kairi in one arm, and Seth in the other.

"Samantha. And I one of the few that can help you defeat Pitch."

Riku, Roxanne, Trevor, Alex, Alyssa, Einstud, Zach and Jo were all in Sora's living room with Samantha and Sora. Kairi and Seth were in the kitchen, with Kairi trying to keep Seth busy. Sora sat next to Samantha and Roxanne on the couch while Riku sat in the chair adjacent to them. Trevor leaned against the wall with his arms crossed, Jo sat on the coffee table, and others stood around the couch.

"Okay...Explain." Riku breathed to Samantha. She nodded.

"That guy..the dark one. His name is Pitch Black. He is basically the King of Darkness. He can controll nightmares and sense the Darkness in pretty much everyone. And he's strong. That's how, even with that protection, he found the Darkness about your son." She looked to Sora with sad eyes, then continued. "As for me, I come from a different world. And when he came to my world, I try to fight him off. Once I launched a Light Orb at him, he, at the same time, throw a Nightmare Orb at me, and we both vanished. Mine is suppose to send him to his own realm or world, which it did, but his apparently sent me here. After a day of wandering, I found him again. He followed me, I am guessing for revenge. We fought again, but I couldn't fight him off, and was low on Orbs, so I ran and found you." She looked to Sora again. Sora looked at her, absorbing her words, and understand the situation. Riku spoke.

"And just before we were called here, you sent him back to his realm?" She nodded.

"I have learned that Orbs powers keep him in his own world for at least a day."

"We have time to come up with a plan." Trevor stated. The others nodded. Sora stood.

"First thing; I want my family safe." He looked to Riku, who nodded firmly. Riku stood beside his best friend.

"Don't worry. We will make sure they are. And for Seths' sake, it will be here, that we keep them safe." Sora smiled slightly. Riku looked to Zach and Jo. "Start building a Light Shield around the house. Not an inch of property left untouched." They nodded, and began working. Sora turned back to Samantha.

"So, how do we defeat Pitch?" Sora asked.

"Well, I was doing research during my lonely day, and discovered what world he is from. And how he has been defeated before. It seems we are gonna need some new allies." Riku raised an eyebrow. Roxanne placed a gentle hand on Samantha's shoulder, curious.

"Who are these allies?" She questioned.

"And are they good?" Alyssa asked.

"Or can we even trust them?" Alex added.

"They might working with Pitch." Einstud said.

"Oh, they are good. And can be trusted, since they are the ones who defeated Pitch before." Samantha said. "They're the Guardians."

"Guardians? Like the ones who are the symbols of fairytales, holidays, and keep the children of the world safe?" Riku asked. Samantha nodded.

"Yup. But there is a problem...Our worlds are not connected likes the others, so getting there would be a challenge." The others sighed. A sudden burst of laughter came from the kitchen. Everyone looked to see Seth making cookie dough with Kairi, and he had some on his face. Everyone smiled, especially Sora. But the smile faded fast; they were in danger, and he had to keep them safe. Kairi looked up and saw his face; her smile faded too. But, she looked back to Seth, and smiled once more, but Sora saw through it. Riku patted his friend's shoulder.

"Hey, don't worry. I promise nothing will happen to them." Sora looked at Riku and nodded.

"I trust you."

"Alright then. While those two build the barrier around your house, you, me, Samantha and Zexion will try to figure out how to get to Pitch's world, and gain these Guardians as allies. As for the rest of you," He looked to everyone else. "Stay here, and protect Seth and Kairi. Don't let them leave, keep them in your sights, and stay here." Sora smiled; he had such great friends, and he was really count on everyone to help him right now. Especially Riku. Riku looked at Sora and smiled too.

"Sounds good." Sora said.

"Okay. We'll give ya time to say good-bye to Kairi. I'll watch Seth til you're done." Sora nodded.

"Seth. Come here." Sora called. Seth laughed and ran over to Sora, who crouched down and scooped him in his arms. "Stay here with Riku, while I go talk to Mommy. Okay?"

"Okay! RIKU!" Seth excalimed when Riku took him in his arms.

"Hey big man!" Riku laughed. Kairi took Kairi upstairs to their room.

"Everything will be fine. And you both will be safe. I promise." Sora just finished explaining everything to Kairi, and started to tear up. They sat side by side on the bed, one of his arms wrapped around her, holding her close.

"I know. I trust you. I trust them. But, I still worry...I-" She couldn't hold in her tears, and began crying in his chest. He wrapped both arms around her, and held her close, tearing up himself. His breathing was a bit shaky and he didn't wanna leave her or Seth. They sat like that for a few minutes, crying and holding each other. Soon, Sora pulled her off and just held her looking at him. Both of their eyes puffy and red. Sora used his thumbs to wipe away her tears and tried his best to smile at her. Kairi saw he was trying, and attempted a smile as well.

"I love you." He whispered. She choked back another sob.

"I love you, too." Sora pulled her in and kissed her lips tenderly. The kiss started to become more passionate and grew deeper. But, it ended when there was a knock at their door. They pulled away.

"Yeah?" Sora said as normal as he could make his voice.

"Hey, it's time we start leaving." It was Roxanne.

"Okay. I'm coming..I'm...Just a minute."

"Sure." And they heard Roxanne go back down. Sora looked at Kairi, and embraced her one last time.

"I'll come back, alive. And you guys will be safe. I promise."

"I know you will. And we'll be here when you return." Sora smiled and kissed her lips one last time, before wiping his eyes with his arm, and heading downstairs. Kairi wrapped her arms around herself, and tried to steady her breath. She needed to gather herself before going downstairs.

Sora met up with Riku in the living room, and took Seth in his arms.

"Hey, son."

"Hi daddy!"

"Daddy's gotta go away for a bit. A little...vacation. But, you get to stay here with Mommy and some relatives."

"Can I come?"

"Oh no. This is a grown-up vacation. But, while I'm gone..." Sora started getting choked up again, but quickly hid it from Seth. "I need you to be the big man of the house, and look out after Mommy. Okay? Can you do that for me?" Seth beamed.

"Yeah! I'll be just like you! I will protect Mommy!" Sora was about to lose it. He hugged Seth tightly, then put him down, where he rushed to Kairi, who just came down. She scooped him up and held him. Riku, Samantha, and Sora then headed for the door, but before Sora stepped out, he looked back to his family and his friends. He smiled at Kairi and waved good-bye, then closed the door behind him. He then just stood there, trying not to cry and gather himself. Riku and Samantha got in the car, and waited for Sora. Sora pulled himself together, inhaled deeply and proudly got inside the passenger seat of the car.

"Ready, bud?" Riku asked, starting up the car. Sora nodded, and they headed off to Zexions'.
